Assistant Manager – Pepperoni Grill Memorial

Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Position: Full-Time Assistant Manager

Pepperoni Grill is looking for an experienced, hands-on Assistant Manager to join our Memorial Road leadership team.

We believe great restaurants are built through great training, clear expectations, consistent standards, and managers who lead by example. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in developing a strong team and creating an excellent experience for every guest, every shift.

What You'll Do:

As an Assistant Manager, you'll work alongside the General Manager and management team to oversee daily restaurant operations and help build a team that consistently executes at a high level.

Responsibilities include:

Lead shifts and ensure smooth, efficient restaurant operations.
Train, coach, and develop team members with an emphasis on consistency and accountability.
Maintain Pepperoni Grill's standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, hospitality, and safety.
Ensure employees are properly trained and confident in their positions.
Provide ongoing coaching and follow-up—not just initial training.
Lead by example and create a positive, professional work environment.
Monitor guest experiences and quickly resolve concerns when they arise.
Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational checklists.
Assist with scheduling, labor management, inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
Work closely with both front- and back-of-house teams to maintain strong communication and execution.
Reinforce food safety, sanitation, alcohol-service, and company policies.
Identify opportunities to improve systems, training, and restaurant performance.
Help hold the team accountable while recognizing and developing strong performers.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for a manager who understands that standards only work when they're taught, demonstrated, followed up on, and consistently reinforced.

Our ideal candidate:

Has previous restaurant management or strong restaurant leadership experience.
Enjoys training and developing people.
Is organized, dependable, and comfortable holding others accountable.
Communicates clearly and professionally.
Can identify problems and take initiative to solve them.
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
Understands both guest service and operational execution.
Leads from the floor and is willing to jump in wherever needed.
Values consistency and doesn't believe in cutting corners.
Can balance urgency with patience when coaching employees.
Wants to grow as a restaurant leader.

Our Culture:

At Pepperoni Grill, training and standards are a major part of our culture. We don't expect people to simply \"figure it out.\" We believe managers are responsible for giving employees the tools, training, feedback, and support they need to succeed.

That also means accountability matters. Our managers are expected to know the standards, teach the standards, model the standards, and follow up when they aren't being met.

We're looking for someone who wants to be part of that kind of leadership team, someone who cares about doing things the right way and helping other people get better.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary based on experience.
Full-time management position.
Training and development.
Opportunities for growth within our restaurant group.
A supportive leadership team.
Employee dining benefits.
A workplace where strong performance, initiative, and leadership are recognized.

Join Our Team:

If you're a restaurant leader who enjoys training people, building strong teams, and creating consistency through clear standards, we'd love to meet you.

Apply today to join the management team at Pepperoni Grill – Memorial Road.
